There is a perception that social tools, like Hootsuite, Sprinklr and Percolate, are just something that is nice to have. They should be free, they are only relevant for large corporations or they are too complex for the service they provide. In reality, a social tool is anything but a nice to have and provides a value return on investment in data alone.
